Tennis Coaching For Kids, From First Contact To Match Play.

Andre coaches children from the first time they hold a racket through to competing in junior matches and school teams, adjusting drills, equipment, and pace to the child's age rather than running one programme for everyone.

01

How Kids Coaching Is Structured

Four things parents ask about most, answered up front.

01
Age-matched drills, not a shrunk adult lesson
Younger children work with lighter racquets, shorter courts, and low-compression balls where useful, so contact and rallying come faster.
02
Parents welcome to watch
Sessions run on courts you can sit beside, whether that's your condo court or a public court near home.
03
A path to real matches
As footwork and consistency build, sessions move toward scored points, then junior match play and school team preparation.
04
Siblings and friends together
Kids' sessions run as small groups more often than one-on-one, since children generally progress faster with a training partner their own age.

What Age To Start

There isn't a strict minimum age. What matters more is whether a child can hold a racket with two hands and follow simple instructions for the length of a session, which for most children lands somewhere around five or six, though Andre will tell you honestly on a message if a particular child seems better served waiting a year.

For families who play at their own condo, kids' sessions can run on the same booked court as an adult family member's lesson, back to back. See condo court coaching for how that works.
